Special Education Need (SEN ) Teacher

Job Description

To support and educate young adults with Special Education needs at our main school located near central London. You will be responsible for supporting the learners’ educational needs whether academic or functional according to their individual support plan..

Mandatory requirements:

Experience in working with challenging behaviour students

QTS / PGCE qualification or equivalent

Up to date enhanced DBS

Desirable:

• Experience in Makaton Sign Language
• Familiarity with the needs of autistic learners
• Familiarity with TEACCH
• Care home experience
• Able to drive
• Flexibility and positive attitude

Salary:

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: Up to £34,000.00 per year
